This is Cyril getting this beast ready to put in place. It's quite impressive to see 650 hp up close!!

The prop is in place and there is just a little more work as the keel has to be extended to support nth bottom of the rudder.

The boat is molded in two parts and while the engine and stern gear is being fitted into the hull with lots of room to get all the pipework and wiring done, the lads are also working on this, the lid !!. Hopefully in just a few week we will be ready to get the lid on and get on with the final fit out.

Well it's got to Ryan and Roberts yard in one piece, now to get stuck into the fit out.

The start of a new year and the hull and wheelhouse moldings are all loaded and on there way!

The boat is now being built and due to be ready for the end of April. I hope to follow her progress on this page.

Hull of the Lochin 366

Here's the first photo I have got of our new boat. I think the hull looks
well.

All the molding is being done on the Isle of Wight and the hull with Wheelhouse and Deck in place is due to be transported to Ireland before Christmas. It will be fitted out at Ryan and Roberts Boatyard in Askeaton, which is on the other side of the Shannon estuary from us and only about 35 miles by road and ferry from Carrigaholt.
