and Carrigaholt is at the mouth of the Shannon
River in County Clare, 7 miles west of Kilkee
and 60 miles west of Limerick City and 50 miles
from Shannon Airport.
Getting
there
By Plane:-
You can fly into Shannon Airport and we can arrange
to have you picked up or you can hire a car. If
you drive you take the N18 to Ennis, then the
N68 to Kilrush, then follow the signs for Kilkee,
then Carrigaholt. Glencarrig Guest House is signposted
from the village. Driving time is about 1.5 hours.
By
Ferry:- If
you want to drive you can take the ferry to Dublin
or Rosslare.
From Dublin look for the N(M)7 to Limerick, then
the N18 to Ennis, then the N68 to Kilrush, then
follow the signs for Kilkee, then Carrigaholt.
From Rosslare take the N25 to Waterford, then
the N25 to Limerick, then the N68 to Kilrush,
then follow the signs for Kilkee, then Carrigaholt.
Glencarrig Guest House is signposted from the
village.
Driving times from both Dublin or Rosslare to
Glencarrig Guest House is about 5 hours.
